Milestone Moments
Our name is derived from how important it is for God’s people to remember significant events where God worked mightily in their lives. Major events in the lives of ancient Israel were memorialized by the piling of several stones to serve as markers for people to remember an encounter with the Almighty. One specific example in the Bible, is in Joshua 24 where God’s people experienced a work of God that they wanted remembered for generations. They set out a large stone so that when they and future generations looked at it, they would be reminded of that “Milestone” moment. Salvation is the first of many Milestones in a Christians’ life. The purpose of naming our church, Milestone Church, is to be continually reminded of the Milestones in our lives, how God is moving us toward new Milestones, and to develop another generation of people that experience many Milestones as they follow God’s Word.

Milestone is made up of people from all walks of life. We get together on a weekly basis to build genuine friendships, worship God, and discover life-changing truths from the Bible. We are committed to continually experience the irresistible love of Christ personally and as we are doing that we are engaging the community to experience Christ.
Bill Dilworth - Senior Pastor
Pastor Bill and Melanie Dilworth came from Pennsylvania to this church in 1998. They met at Clarks Summit University and got married in 1994 and now have 5 children. They started by serving as the Associate Pastor in charge of Youth and Music and in 2005, God led him to be the Lead Pastor. Outside of the church, they enjoy doing all kinds of things like, reading, travelling, photography, fixing and building things around the house and just hanging out with friends.
